● Managing the quality of the website and the resulting customer experience
● Ensure that accurate, comprehensive and high-quality product information is available on all
products, Coordinating and manage with freelancers to provide thorough and authoritative
detail page content
● Propose, plan and execute new features, and products with minimal oversight, partnering with
business and technical teams
● Drive feature launches and site improvements to completion by coordinating with the tech
team, developers, the marketing team, designers, and other editors in similar roles
● Write and schedule content & media on emails, home pages, category pages, blog pages and
information pages across the site, campaigns, and develop and manage free search
improvement projects
● Executing the site merchandising calendar. This includes email programs, new product
launches, cross-category placements, content management
● Track and analyze customer needs based on customer behaviours including searching,
browsing and purchasing, identifying problems and opportunities and responding accordingly
● Regularly develop, test and analyze new merchandising tactics that sell products across all
categories and increase conversion rates, documenting the results and sharing best practices
with the team
● Work directly with CMS solutions/ experts to develop and deploy eCommerce features,
functionality and tools to improve site promotional opportunities
● Collaborate with the marketing and digital marketing teams to build and implement
promotional plans; optimize site promotional modules and placements to drive conversions
● Coordinate with the SEO expert to ensure implementation for a top ranking site
● Utilize data and analytics to identify opportunities to improve key e-commerce metrics:
conversion rate, sales per visit, abandon cart rate and checkout abandon rate
